Our first customer for this carriage was the operator of the Wild Wood Stables at Acadia National Park in Maine, hence the name Acadia Sociable. Available in sizes from 10 to 14 passengers, all Acadias have space for 6 passengers in the forward (Vis a Vis) section. The rear (wagonette) section can be made in lengths to carry from 4 to 8 passengers. In addition 1 or 2 people can ride on the box seat next to the driver. The Victoria, like all NECI carriages, is custom made to fit customer needs and built to suit large ponies to draft size horses. It carries 2 to 3 passengers in the rear facing forward and has a small “jump seat” facing backwards, suitable for children. The box seat is suitable for 1 or 2 people next to the driver. This particular Vis a Vis was built for 16h to 18h horses and carries up to six passengers in addition to one or two more on the box next to the driver. The Savannah can be ordered to fit smaller horses. The Wagonette is available from 6 to 12 passengers and will be sized to fit your horses. The Yukon was originally designed as a training vehicle but has developed into a very popular recreational and pleasure carriage. Equipped with the independent trailing arm air suspension and pneumatic tires it can handle almost any terrain. making it a very comfortable off road commercial carriage. The Yukon standard is for 6 passengers as shown but can be sized for up to 10. The optional “step thru” provides easy access for passengers from the rear to the box. Base price is $7600.00.
