The Max II is a light all purpose pair vehicle, suitable for CDEs, training and pleasure.   While the “Marathon Max II” is basically a pair vehicle it also comes with shafts so it can be driven single. The Max I, on the other hand, is basically a single horse vehicle but can be ordered with an adaptor and pole, or with a permanent splinter bar it becomes a light pair vehicle.
